September 2018 – Parcel Contents

Happy Friday! I hope you’ve had a lovely week.

We’ve reached the end of another month, so this week’s post is going to be about the contents of our September parcel! The theme this time was ‘At Home’, and the contents were all about the recipient, their home, and the environment they live in – thank you so much for the lovely feedback we’ve received this month.

September Contents:

Wish Bracelet –

This month, our parcels are all about you and your home. We loved the idea of these wish bracelets, which have been made by ‘By Erin’. As you tie the bracelet on your wrist, make a wish, and it is believed that when the cord is worn through, your wish may come true – so wish wisely! You can find Erin’s products on their website: www.byerin.co.uk

Home Word –

This ‘Home’ word is perfect for adding to a shelf, or it comes with some little sticky tabs to attach to a wall if you prefer. They have been made by Carol over at ‘U Can Name It’. They have a shop on eBay and create lots of beautiful word decorations, plaques, signs and memory boxes. You can find them here: www.ebay.co.uk/usr/blake7070

Terrarium & Wall Decal –

One item that we know can help to make our home environment healthy, is plants. These terrariums are a great way to bring a little plant life into our homes in a fun way, and they are perfect for growing small succulents, air plants or cacti. Now, we couldn’t include a real cactus in your parcel, so this wall decal is the closest we could get – without potentially causing you pain! Top tip…terrariums are very versatile, so if succulents aren’t your thing, they look great with a tea light inside, as a desk tidy, or full of jelly beans!

Bedside Notebook –

Another way to look after ourselves and our homes is organisation, and organising our minds is just as important. This little notebook is for all those nights when we are lying in bed, and our head is just full of ‘stuff’ – it could be things we need to do tomorrow or things we should have done today, but when this happens, grab this little notebook & write it down, and free your mind – it can all keep until tomorrow anyway!

‘Hard Times Don’t Last Forever’ –

We’ve included another inspirational postcard by Katie Abey Design, and this one has an important message. We all go through tough times, and when we do, it’s important to remember that things are always changing, and those hard times don’t last forever, there’s always something better on the way.

Smile Cards

As always, there should be a couple of these little cards in your parcel, I’ve written one for you, and the blank one, is for you to write a short inspirational or positive message, and give to someone you know, or leave somewhere for a complete stranger to find – but this is of course optional, there’s absolutely no pressure to do this if you don’t want to.

Parcel Assistant

This month, your *Parcel Assistant is, Jonathon. I’m afraid Jonathon has a particular liking to eating custard at midnight, I have no idea why, I just recommend keeping any custard related items in your kitchen, safely locked away!

*Parcel Assistants are cheeky little pompom chaps who help (or hinder!) us with packing your monthly parcels!
